Selected for AltaLab Fall 2026 — AltaIR Capital's founder program

Every driver knows where to park.
Every city breathes easier.

ChenAI is the parking intelligence layer: it knows your car, sees every spot in the city — street, garage or mall — and holds the one that fits you. Free for drivers. Starting in Tel Aviv.

The problem

Parking is the last unsolved layer of urban navigation.

Every neighbouring problem got solved. Routing, payment, garage booking abroad. Finding the spot — the part that wastes the thirty minutes — is still open. That gap is the company.

solved

Routing

Waze — born in Israel, sold to Google for ~$1.1B.

solved

Payment

Pango (2M+ users) and Cellopark own pay-by-phone.

solved abroad

Garage booking

SpotHero, JustPark, Arrive — off-street only, not in Israel.

open

Finding the spot

No one fuses live street sensing, covered lots and car-fit matching in one free consumer app. Anywhere.

17 hours and $345 a year — what the average driver wastes searching (INRIX). Israel has 4.2 million vehicles growing 3% a year against fixed curb space.

The product

One app. The AI finds the spot, fits your car, holds it.

Five moments, one drive. The app shows only spots your car actually fits, only where parking is legal for you at that hour — and holds the one you choose for exactly as long as it takes you to arrive.

01

Type your plate once

ChenAI resolves your exact make, model, trim, year and dimensions from Israel's open vehicle registry. No measurements, ever. From then on the app shows only spots your car actually fits.

02

Know before you go

Live availability at your destination — only legal parking for you, at that hour. Residents-only zones, disabled bays and loading zones are blacked out automatically.

03

Always a plan B

Area full? Instantly ranked alternatives: “three minutes' walk away — 94% confidence, fits your car.”

04

Claim it

True reservations at partner garages and lots, held for a window set by your live ETA. Street spots use exclusive in-app claims that vanish from every other user's map.

05

Park, pay, done

Guidance to the exact spot; payment stays with Pango and Cellopark — ChenAI creates their transactions. And the AI learns from every park.

How it works

One AI. Every source of parking truth.

Cameras, sensors, garage feeds, aerial maps and the drivers themselves — fused into one live, confidence-scored map of the whole parking reality of a city. Then prediction fills every street the sensors don't watch.

ChenAI smart cameras

Per-spot truth in under a minute. One camera covers 30–100 spots; all AI runs on the device.

Sensors at crucial locations

Second-by-second certainty at disabled bays, EV chargers, loading zones and flagship streets.

Underground & covered lots

Live feeds from malls, supermarkets and garages — where no satellite or street camera can see. Tel Aviv's municipal feed exists today.

Satellite & aerial mapping

Every spot in the city, its exact size and its rules — plus history that trains prediction.

Fusion & prediction AI

output: one live map

  • A live, confidence-scored availability map of every spot in the city.
  • Prediction fills every street the sensors don't cover — and learns from every ChenAI user who parks or leaves.
  • Restricted parking blacked out automatically: residents-only, disabled bays, loading zones, time-window rules.
  • Coverage and accuracy compound with every user — the Waze flywheel, applied to parking.

Layers become infrastructure.

Apps compete on features. A layer that knows every car, every spot and every hour of the city is what navigation apps, fleets and — eventually — automakers' dashboards will license. Every competitor sells one slice: garage booking, a neighbourhood subscription, municipal analytics, coarse prediction. ChenAI is the layer beneath all the slices.

The vision models start from mature open-source detection, fine-tuned on our own Tel Aviv street footage. The prediction engine is built in-house — its value is entirely the proprietary dataset: pilot metrics, user signals, garage feeds. That cannot be bought, and therefore cannot be copied.

The differentiator

Type your plate once. ChenAI knows your car forever.

No product on the market matches spots to your car automatically. Not Google, not Waze, not any parking app. Watch what happens after one plate number.

5.0 mfits
4.2 mtoo short
5.4 mfits

A promise, not a guess.

“Fits your car” only works if the map is measured. ChenAI builds a city-wide spot-geometry map from 10–25 cm aerial imagery, refined by its own cameras — a data asset competitors can't shortcut.

Reservations, where holding is legal.

Public street spots cannot legally be hard-reserved anywhere in the world — so ChenAI holds spots at partnered garages and lots, and gives street spots exclusive in-app claims instead. Engineered around the law, not against it.

Privacy by design

Only the AI ever sees the street.

The sensing network is built so it physically cannot identify anyone. Your car is known only because you told your own app your plate.

No human ever watches

Frames are processed on the device and discarded instantly. Nothing is recorded; nothing can be replayed.

No plates. No faces.

The sensing network physically cannot identify anyone. It counts occupancy — it never reads a plate.

Only metadata leaves the device

The camera transmits one anonymous fact: “spot 14 is free.” That is the entire data stream.

Beyond compliance — a moat

Designed past Israel's Privacy Protection Law Amendment 13 (2025) and the PPA camera guidelines, with a privacy officer from the first deployment and a third-party audit before citywide launch.

Municipal cameras: we never ask for raw video. Where a city wants its cameras used, ChenAI's edge software runs under the city's own authority, and only derived occupancy data reaches us. Partners never inherit legal risk from ChenAI.

Partners

Built with the partners who go first.

Every paying party receives new, measurable value: filled spots, delivered shoppers, data that never existed.

Cities

first: Tel Aviv-Yafo

  • A data layer no Israeli city has: live, planning-grade curb occupancy from privacy-certified devices — the city holds the authority.
  • Less cruising, cleaner air: measurable congestion, fuel and CO₂ reductions the city publishes and counts toward climate goals.
  • Compliance by design: the app shows only legal parking — enforcement relief before enforcement is needed.
  • Municipal lots surfaced free to every driver from day one, starting with the live Ahuzot HaHof feed.

Parking operators

garages · lots · counting

  • Demand delivered in real time — including off-peak hours that currently earn nothing.
  • Reservations arrive pre-committed, held for an ETA-calculated window that minimises no-shows.
  • No counting system? ChenAI installs edge-AI counting at our cost as part of the partnership.
  • Pricing and demand analytics: which hours, entrances and spot types are underpriced.

Malls & retail

supermarkets · chains · centres

  • “Shoppers with a guaranteed spot”: your covered garage — invisible to satellites — becomes a reason to choose you.
  • Attributed footfall: see exactly how many visits ChenAI delivered.
  • Offers at the moment of decision: “reserve here, parking validated.”
  • The rails already exist: automatic-entry integrations prove it — ChenAI adds discovery and reservation.

Payments stay with Pango and Cellopark — ChenAI creates their transactions, it does not compete with them. Navigation platforms and automakers' dashboards are the long view: the live spot layer is exactly what they lack.

We're looking for partners who want to be first.

One district, one lot, one garage. Published before/after search-time results the city can own — and first place in line for everyone who says yes now.

01

One city district

A CityZone / municipal pilot: ~20 cameras and sensors in a flagship district, with published before/after search-time results.

02

One garage operator

A single lot running live feeds and ETA-held reservations — filling hours that earn nothing today.

03

One retail chain

A mall or supermarket garage that greets ChenAI users with a guaranteed spot — and measures every visit we deliver.

What partners risk: one district, one lot, one garage. What partners gain: first place in line.

Questions

Straight answers.

Is ChenAI really free for drivers?
Yes — permanently. People shouldn't pay to stop wasting their lives circling the block. The business is funded by the other side of the marketplace: operators who fill empty capacity, retailers who gain shoppers with a guaranteed spot, cities that gain a live curb-data layer, and — at scale — navigation and in-car licensing.
Can you actually reserve a street spot?
No — and neither can anyone else, anywhere in the world: public street spots cannot legally be hard-reserved. ChenAI holds spots for real at partnered garages and lots (for a window set by your live ETA), and gives street spots an exclusive in-app claim that removes them from every other user's map. The plan was engineered around that fact, not against it.
Do your cameras record me or my plate?
No. Frames are processed on the device and discarded instantly; nothing is recorded and nothing can be replayed. The only thing that ever leaves a device is an anonymous fact like “spot 14 is free”. The network physically cannot identify anyone — your car is known only because you told your own app your plate.
How do you know my car fits?
You type your plate once. Israel's open vehicle registry returns your exact make, model, trim and year; commercial spec databases add length, width and height; and ChenAI matches those against its measured map of every spot's geometry — built from 10–25 cm aerial imagery and refined by its own cameras. No product on the market does this.
Where and when?
Tel Aviv-Yafo first: a flagship-district pilot with about twenty edge cameras and sensors, a first garage partner and a 1,000-driver beta, then a free citywide launch. After that Gush Dan, Jerusalem and Haifa — and, through the Budapest engineering base, dense cities in Europe. Join the waitlist below to be first.
How do I pay for parking?
Exactly as you do today. Payment stays with Pango and Cellopark — ChenAI creates their transactions rather than competing with them, so there is no second app and no new account.
Who are you looking for right now?
Partners who want to be first: one city district for a pilot, one garage or lot operator, one mall or retail chain — plus drivers for the Tel Aviv beta and investors who back mobility and smart-city infrastructure. Write to us below.
